Is Palin Trying To Incite Violence Against Obama?
One wonders at this point how the various agencies charged with the responsibility of protecting the Presidential candidates from violence will respond to this latest tactic from the McCain campaign.

Obama has learned all the wrong lessons from the swift boat debacle. Kerry got spanked in 2004 because he has the personality of the thimble.
You're not like the others who shill for McCain-Palin. Coulter, Hannity, O'Reilly, Ingraham -- they're operatives, easily replaceable. You're a writer, a real one.
Whatever you believe about Bill Ayers and the Weathermen, the fact remains that he is not running for president. But John McCain doesn't really have any other arrows left in his quiver.
Like a cartoon convenience store robber shouting "Your money or your life!" at the clerk, McCain has staked his campaign on a last-ditch effort to make voters sufficiently afraid of Obama.
Palin is in the driver's seat and plans to stay there. Her take-no-prisoners nasty streak and extreme right wing views have found kindred spirits now that she's fully staffed up with veterans of Bush.
The Keating Five connections are very troubling for what they mean today -- both on economic philosophy and on McCain's willingness to get cozy with special interests.
John McCain's new coziness with Big Oil is in many respects just a replay of his old coziness with Charles Keating. In both cases, money and access bought influence.
This election created a whole new generation of activists. We have energy and we have numbers. Justice will prevail. A people awakened cannot be put back to sleep.
Republicans want to pretend that Bush isn't president and hasn't lead the nation into hell for the past eight years, but Bush is still the head of the Republican Party.
If, MSNBC, you want to run all four candidates' stump speeches throughout the day, fine. If you're only running Palin as it appears you are, knock it off.
The report card places McCain on what it calls "the D team" and explains, "These legislators must improve their voting records if they are to legitimately claim that they support our troops and veterans."
Every politician in America wants you to believe they "support the troops." But actions speak louder than words.
I'd rather be thrown out for the truth than group-hugged for a lie.
Gov. Palin said that she learned about Sen. Obama's ties to The Weather Channel last week "when I was trying hard to read The New York Times."
A man like John McCain is utterly lost once he turns against himself -- you can see it in the his face. There's an ugly vacuum where once there was a solid core.

I knew this would devolve to this level years ago when Newt Gingrich started using the word "liberal" instead of "democrat" to demonize all who differed with his new GOP doctrine. Rush picked up that ball and ran with it and voila, here we are. No morals, no shame. Today's GOP.
Obama '08!
The hole idea of smear is to create doubt. People in doubt ere on the side of caution and don't run risks. Fear has always been the biggest motivator for people to act in a certain way that they think would make them safe.
If the facts are undisputable, then people can make the right choice. But politicians and media especially don't want that. They want it to be confusing. That's what the media does best to keep people interested and their ratings up. Have you notice the illsusion they always give that they bring both sides of the aisle to fight it out, but they cut them off after 30 seconds to go to a commercial break!! and we'll bring you back tomorrow!!.. Never reach a conclusion. The system is designed that way to keep the money flowing to big news outlets. Doesn't matter if the people are confused. Actually it is the goal. Keep them confused so that they keep watching trying to find out the truth.. unfortunately for the ones who are intellectually lazy to do the research on their own, it'll only remain a mistery
GOP the party of Judas
Carrying on the great traditions of "HATE"
This is exactly what we are up against folks - the GOP's rabid base that they are stoking daily. Hopefully, mainstream Americans will see this for what it is and soundly denounce this behavior (and the adoring adulation that McSame/Pander is heaping on it by their silence) on November 4th.
