Debate Analysis: My Candidate Did Great!
I haven't seen a beat-down like that since Bentsen vs. Quayle. It wasn't even close! It's over. There's no way the Other Guy can bounce back from a humiliating defeat like that. My Guy was so presidential.

I believe now is the time for Obama to consider a bolder and more historic approach to the financial crisis by presenting to middle income Americans a step-by-step "big think" FDR-style New Deal program.
In the wake of McCain-Palin visits to North Carolina, a string of election season crimes have occurred around the state involving violence, vandalism, and harassment.
The real insights came in the revelations about the way each man thinks under pressure, and the way they interacted. The overall effect was exactly the opposite of what McCain hoped to achieve.

At the end of the debate, Brokaw asked McCain to get out of the way of his Teleprompter. He might as well have been speaking on behalf of the future: Senator McCain can you please get out of the way so we can get on with it?
Mccain and Palin and their ilk don't laugh. They patronize. They don't smile, they snicker. They don't debate, they denigrate. They don't talk, they condescend. They don't argue, they ridicule.
Obama needs to do precisely what he has not done thus far in debates -- connect with voters in a way that makes them feel like they know and share his values, and confident that he will keep them and their families safe.
Last week, the Brady Center released its report on the impact of military-style semi-automatic assault weapons on American families and law enforcemen...
If what we've seen from the senator so far is him "focusing" on the economy -- what the hell is he like when he's multitasking?
This debate was won on the reaction shots. Every time Obama spoke, McCain grimaced, sneered, or rolled his eyes. Every time McCain was on the attack, Obama smiled - underlining McCain's need for anger management. A few days ago, I met Sam. Joe the Plumber should really meet Sam, too. Sam owns over 100 gas stations in southern California and 25 restaurant franchises. He has over 800 employees working for him.
Just as Hillary Clinton learned in the primaries, it is extremely difficult to compete simultaneously with Obama's unwavering strategy and his unrelenting organization on the ground.
If John McCain thinks Americans are angry, it's either because he's projecting, or else he's simply been going to too many of his own rallies.
The election of Illinois Senator Barack Obama as America's 44th president is astounding, historical, implausible, improbable and completely without precedent.

When McCain said the word "goodies" during the second debate, he reminded me of a cross between Gollum from Lord of the Rings and that demented clown from the Stephen King"s It. McCain uses the same tone with the word "goodies" that Gollum uses when he says "my precious". Listen to him again, it"s very eerie sounding.
Did Obama Invented Computer ????
In 2000 election campaign Al Gore was unfairly treated for his wrongly attributed claim of inventing the internet.
Life seems to have come a full circle. Now Barack Obama, in his NASHVILLE, Tennessee debate, has claimed that "US Defense scientists invented computer". It appears Mr. Obama meant internet. His exact words "computer was originally invented by a bunch of government scientists who were trying to figure out, for defense purposes, how to communicate"
Firstly, Obama campaign targeted McCain for being behind in technology (can"t email) but they did not bother to educate their candidate that computer and internet are two different things. It reminds me of Dilbert's pointy haired boss , who asks him to "download the internet." America, be prepared to accept more of these from future President of USA.
Secondly, US Defense Department implemented and built the back bone of world wide web. Tim Berners-Lee, a UK citizen, invented the World Wide Web, while working in CERN, Switzerland, in mid 80"s, and for this great achievement, was knighted (KBE) by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II during an Investiture in London on Friday, 16 July 2004.
By the way, computer (abacus) was invented by the Chinese, much before US Defense Department came into existence.
Surprisingly, Obama seems to have got away with this gaffe. Actually , McCain camp's performance is so poor in this regard that Obama will get away even if he claims to invent the computer, himself.
